This week on our Beer & Pizza night: everything about the new technology of SLA 3D Printing using resin. Hopefully we can demonstrate our new prototype SLA printer, but at least this could be very interesting for people currently using FDM technology. We have some guys over who did work on the prototype with us, so you can ask a lot of questions. So make sure to be here on thursday 18:30!
Here is a example video of the technology: link
We are planning to do workshops and courses few a while now and as we are starting to get settled in our new office, we think it's time for this to start happening. So for now we have two workshops available for enrolling. To enroll, just purchase the product associated with the workshop you like. We will send an email with confirmation soon after.
This two hour hands on workshop provides information on techniques to maintain, troubleshoot and upgrade your RepRap 3D printer. We will focus specifically on failure mechanisms, pre-emptive failure detection, and methods for improving your machine's performance and reliability. Individual troubleshooting issues may also be addressable within the time period as long as detailed description of the problems are provided in advance.
Learn the pros and cons of some of the most prevalent 3D printer slicer software and how to utilize their features and toolpathing characteristics to improve print appearance, strength and overall success. We will focus specifically on the effect of critical slicing parameters on the print, their relationship to your firmware settings, and the process of evaluating the resulting tool path prior to printing in order to identify and mitigate possible issues. Familiarly with firmware is not required.
