Nylon (Polyamide) is a clear, flexible, self-lubricating, and durable thermoplastic that is also weather- and chemically-resistant; it can be thought of as a tougher form of PETG. Akulon Nylon is considered food safe*.

• Print temperature is between 250°C - 290°C depending on print speed and printer configuration.
• Heated bed temperature of 80°C - 110°C on an adhesive surface (e.g. glass with spray,  PEI + glue stick, etc..)
• A heated chamber is recommended for larger models to minimize the chance of warping or layer delamination
• Nylon is hydrophillic, thus the pellets (and any produced filament) should be stored in a dry cool area.

* FDM-printed food and drink containers are only safe for use when proper care is taken to make sure the full filament extrusion path meets food safety standards, and when the containers are properly cleansed of potential bacterial growth between uses.
